10 cose da sapere sul futuro dei video online

Una settimana fa a San Francisco si è tenuta la conferenza NewTeeVeeLive. Sono state dette molte cose interessanti e a mio avviso queste 10 cose scritte in uno dei post del blog di NewTeeVee sono un buon punto di partenza per capire cosa succederà in futuro. Non ho avuto ancora modo di tradurre questo decalogo... nel frattempo:

1. The living room is on the horizon
2. The audience has evolved
3. New media startups are fading
4. Participatory and multiplatform elements of shows are moving from their nerdy roots (Heroes and Lost) to the mainstream (CSI and Ugly Betty).
5. Indie stars can still be made
6. Web stars still aren’t crossing over to mainstream success, but they’re doing pretty well for themselves
7. Success is on its way, if we can only figure out how to define it
8. Nobody’s worried about the big, bad bandwidth caps
9. The logistics of bringing premium content to the web haven’t exactly been smoothed out yet
10. Live-streaming still needs a lot of work

Bonus: 11. People really love this business, economy be damned

Eccola qui la conferenza più interessante degli ultimi tempi per capire come sarà il futuro dei contenuti: NewTeeVee Live.
Molti di voi leggono già NewTeeVee e per questo già conoscono tutte le serie web, le start-ups recensite e presentate dal team di NewTeeVee.
Tra gli ospiti dell'evento: Miles Beckett (CEO EQAL) di LonelyGirl15, Jason Kilar (CEO Hulu), Anthony E. Zuiker (Creator and Executive Producer, "CSI: Franchise") ma sopratutto quel pazzo di Lucas Cruikshank 16 anni e ideatore di Fred (sotto il video) e Jay Smooth di "ill doctrine" (sotto il video).
